Two bizarre pop-culture artifacts are up for auction this weekend: hair belonging to both Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson. TIME surveys the out-there celeb keepsakes that only die-hard fans could love
It's unusual that someone would bid on a black bra worn by the actress and singer Cher. What's even more unusual is that Cher was the one who put it up for auction. The bra, included as part of a 2007 auction of the singer's personal effects, was picked up by the Hard Rock Hotel, which paid an undisclosed amount of money to display the undergarment in its Las Vegas hotel and casino. Cher said most of the proceeds from the auction went to her charitable foundation.
