Top 10 Crazy Celebrity Collectibles
Two bizarre pop-culture artifacts are up for auction this weekend: hair belonging to both Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson. TIME surveys the out-there celeb keepsakes that only die-hard fans could love
A British auction channel, Auction World.TV, on the Sky Digital network, claimed in 2001 to have acquired (through unstated and presumably unorthodox means) a set of 11 baby and adult teeth belonging to the actor Jack Nicholson. Though Auction World.TV said it received offers of nearly $10,000 for the choppers (Nicholson was rumored to be angered about the auction lot and interested in bidding himself), there's no report that the sale ever went through. Indeed, there's no concrete evidence that the Brits ever had the strange bounty to begin with, although the British press reported at the time that various teeth from the actor had been for sale individually in the past.
