Before he was really famous, comedian Steve Martin appeared on the The Dating Game in 1968 — and he won the girl. The clip seems to foreshadow the funnyman's bright future, complete with Martin saying that he likes to be "wild, free, do anything" — perhaps the beginnings of what would become his hit 1978 comedy album Wild and Crazy Guy. Some other celebrities whose appearances on the show have been dug up and digitized for YouTube: California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger — "Girl #2, these are my measurements. Now don't freak out." And the late pop icon Michael Jackson during his Jackson 5 days.
