In a popularity contest between a major international news organization and Mr. Demi Moore, the result was... Not even close. On April 14, Ashton Kutcher, already the most popular person on Twitter, challenged CNN to see who who would become the first entity to have a million individual followers. @aplusk raced @CNNBrk into the late hours of the night before the actor finally won, broadcasting his victory to his seven-figure audience. Asinine? Sure. But the game wasn't without good intentions. Kutcher held court all evening via live streaming video, soliciting donations for mosquito nets for Africa. Kutcher donated 10,000 nets himself in honor of his big win.
