Fallon was the forgotten man during the late-night wars; as the freshly anointed host of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (Conan O'Brien's old program), he couldn't afford to pick sides between his predecessor and the NBC executives who gave him his spot. Still, Fallon's classy tribute after O'Brien's last Tonight Show (pouring a beer on the floor of Conan's old studio), coupled with some smart bits of his own, prove that this SNL veteran is making the most of his late-night opportunity.
