She was one of three GOP votes on the stimulus bill and the only Republican to vote for health care reform out of committee in the Senate. Snowe defies the Party of No label that Dems are trying to hang around the neck of the GOP. One of the few remaining Republican moderates in Congress, she's willing to talk and listen to the other side and sometimes even cross the aisle to vote for a compromise — behavior that's been hailed by some of her colleagues as downright mavericky, making her one to watch on nearly every vote.
