Thrust into the spotlight when her mother became the GOP nominee for Vice President in 2008, Palin has remained on the national stage in her own right. After giving birth to a son, Tripp, in December 2008, she is now an abstinence spokeswoman for the Candie's Foundation, a teen-pregnancy-prevention group. She'll make her acting debut in a guest appearance as herself on an upcoming episode of ABC Family's The Secret Life of the American Teenager, about an unwed teenage mother.
