Tell us about a book or film or work of art that has influenced you.
The love for visual beauty is a very important part of my life. But what influenced me most professionally was reading Freud's The Interpretation of Dreams as a teenager. It was that book that first aroused my interest in psychotherapy and led me to work with delinquent children. I should add, however, that despite my early fascination with Freud, my professional work in psychology could not be more remote from psychoanalysis.
