With both Lost and 24 leaving TV screens for good this spring, networks are sensing an opening for the next big, twisty suspense serial. AMC's effort is a political-conspiracy thriller starring James Badge Dale (The Pacific) as a think-tank analyst who's begun to learn things he's not supposed to. The network has gone two for two with stellar drama series Mad Men and Breaking Bad; let's hope its third loads the bases.
