On their third album, the Montreal indie rockers try to top their critically lauded 2008 offering, At Mount Zoomer. With Expo 86 mostly recorded directly to tape, with few overdubs Wolf Parade succeeds, from the undeniable groove of "Ghost Pressure" to the jagged guitar of "What Did My Lover Say? (It Always Had to Go This Way)."
