As of late, the contest for most appealing vampire love interest has featured a full bracket. But outside of the chaste teen genre, the competition gets much thinner. True Blood's resident undead love interest, "out of the coffin" vampire Bill Compton, arrives in Bon Temps, La., with a tortured soul and a strapping physique. Played by English actor Stephen Moyer, Vampire Bill soon has his heart set on Sookie Stackhouse, the town psychic and, perhaps conveniently, a buxom blonde. Void of any abstinence-only agenda and being possibly the only vampire heartthrob old enough to walk into a bar, Bill's relationship with Sookie is anything but puppy love, and he's been steaming up the small screen ever since his arrival.
