All we know is the supermarket in Westlake Village, Calif., where these two actresses live, must be the site of some awkward random encounters. Locklear helped her neighbor Richards through an ugly breakup from Charlie Sheen in 2005, even taking care of Richards' newborn. In February of 2006, Locklear split from her husband of 11 years, Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, the father of her 8-year-old daughter, Ava. Within — oh — minutes, Sambora was photographed canoodling with Richards. In May, Richards told People magazine, "I wish Heather well. Unfortunately, our friendship had to dissolve." Really? We can't imagine why.
