Bose Noise-Canceling Headphones
Thanks to Dr. Amar G. Bose, we can jump on a transcontinental flight and drown out crying babies, the hum of airplane engines and the Chatty Cathy sitting next to us. Dissatisfied with the headphones provided to him on a flight in 1978, Bose created the first pair of noise-canceling headphones in 1986.
