They said it first: they were on "a mission from God." Really, it was only a matter of time before the Holy See recognized the significance of The Blues Brothers. This year, L'Osservatore Romano, the Vatican's newspaper, deemed the 30-year-old cult flick a "Catholic classic." After all, John Belushi's Jake and Dan Aykroyd's Elwood were out to raise funds to save their old Catholic orphanage.
