Summer Entertainment Preview 2011

This Grammy-nominated Texas "newgrass" trio isn't actually Texan; its members are from Britain and Australia (hence the name). On its fifth record, The Brick Album, mandolins, fiddles and acoustic guitars create laid-back tunes that land in a sweet spot halfway between Americana and traditional bluegrass. The opening track, "Make It out West," has an infectious rhythm perfect for summer evenings on the back porch. 6/21
