Top 10 Fleeting Celebrities

Joe Stevens / Retna / Corbis

He courted and married one of the most famous women in America this year, but we're certain that one Kris Humphries — briefly Mr. Kim Kardashian — isn't long for our radar. Why? Because even though the NBA player spent most of 2011 on the Kardashian fame bandwagon, the couple's nuptials lasted a mere 72 days before Kim announced on Halloween she was filing for divorce. The absurdity of the romance and the rumors that the pair made money by selling rights to the coverage of their wedding (which was televised in a four-hour, two-part special on E!) caused a certain amount of negative backlash, but while the fiasco doesn't seem likely to cause long-term harm to the Kardashian empire, Kim's ex won't be so lucky. Short as it was, we're guessing that the marriage lasted longer than our memory of Humphries will.
