Lieutenant Lynn D. "Buck" Compton

Lieutenant Compton was leader of the 2nd Platoon and was a friendly, amiable man who was everyone's favorite. Her served with distinction during the battles of Normandy, Holland and Bastogne. For action on D-Day he was awarded the Silver Star.
