Sony maintains dominance in the digital-camcorder arena with over 10 new models coming out this spring (including three DVD recordables similar to the Panasonic and Hitachi). The TRV33, a Mini DV model due out next month, offers professional imaging — 520 lines of DVD-quality video plus 1-megapixel still-picture resolution — in a tiny casing. All of Sony's trademark features are there, including a Carl Zeiss lens, a Memory Stick slot and the Super NightShot and SteadyShot settings. The neatest new perk is the USB Streaming feature, which lets you broadcast live or pre-recorded video from tape straight to the Internet via the USB connection (and your home PC).
