Epson Perfection 1670
The 1670 is designed for people who want control over scanning old photos, newsprint, kid's pictures, etc., plus slides and negatives. It's both powerful — a fast USB 2.0 connection and a maximum scanning resolution of 1600 dpi — and smart, featuring Epson's built-in Easy Photo Fix technology. The scanner automatically restores faded colors or remove dust from the picture. The Smart Panel software interface lets you perform specific automated tasks, like Scan to Application or Scan to E-mail. Scan to OCR turns pages into editable text.
