WHIRLPOOL POLARA RANGE
The Whirlpool Polara range can be set to switch from cooling to heating to warming mode so dinner is ready and waiting when you get home. A new version, which has not yet been made available to consumers, adds networking and remote control capabilities. Users can adjust or change the oven's settings by punching in a few comands on a Web-enabled ("WAP") cell phone, or from a computer in another part of the house. IBM developed the network hub that allows the oven to send and receive instructions over the home's existing power lines.
