Dell Dimension 4600C with 17-in. LCD TV
Here's the cramped dorm-room special: an especially slim desktop PC with a flat-screen monitor that doubles as a TV. Yep, with a standard tuner and audio/video inputs for, say, a PlayStation 2, this LCD screen stands on its own — when the schoolwork is finished, of course. Inside the 4600C's case is a full-strength 2.8GHz Pentium 4, plus 256MB of RAM and a 40GB hard drive. To guarantee this sweet bundle, you have to go to Dell's website, click "Home & Home Office," then enter the following E-Value code: REF 46CLCDTV. As it often happens with packages like this, you may want to beef up the system a bit. At the moment, it costs $30 extra to up the drive capacity to 80GB, and $80 more to double the RAM.
