LG VX4600 for Verizon Wireless
Think of it as a slimmed-down version of the bestselling VX6000. For about half the price, you get everything but the camera. This includes the bright marquee-style exterior LCD, the one-touch access to Verizon's mobile Web and Get It Now services, and applications like Voice Memo, Alarm Clock and, of course, the EZ Tip Calculator. It also has the most intuitive phone book found on a Verizon phone to date, capable of containing 499 entries, each with up to five numbers and three e-mail addresses. It may not do crazy things like video (for that, Verizon customers will need to check out the all-new $180 VX7000), but this is as reliable as a reasonably-priced cell phone can get.
