UNITED 93
In the week before our stories on this film ran, many New Yorkers, including TIME staffers, told me they intended never to see it. Some expressed outrage that the movie was even made. Others said it was Òtoo soonÓ for them to relive the events of 9/11, even this part of it: the inspiring story of the attempt by passengers on one of the doomed flights to divert the hijackers from their deadly mission. Well, look — and I mean look at United 93, now that it's on DVD and can be seen in the cocoon of your home. It's not to soon to see this exacting, exciting and of course creepy enterprise. In fact, it's about freakin' time.
