A WIN FOR EARL
Tiger Woods, golf's icy assassin, finally lost it. After sinking his winning putt at this summer's British Open, giving Woods his first tournament title since the death of his father, Earl, in May, Woods clung on to his caddie, Steve Williams, and cried uncontrollably. The moment gave fans a rare glimpse into Tiger's emotions. "I miss my dad so much," Woods said after the British Open. "I just wish he could have seen it one more time." He'd be one proud papa Woods clinched his 12th major championship, the PGA, in August, and rattled off six straight PGA titles during the year.
