Seoul: Side Trips
Night Skiing at Jisan Forest
Korea isn't exactly renowned for world-class skiing, but it does offer night skiing into the wee hours 4 a.m. to be exact at the Jisan Forest Resort, about 40 miles (64 km) outside of Seoul. The facility has about a dozen short runs and a DJ to liven up the slopes. Visitors can rent gear and equipment at the mountain, and there's a free shuttle bus (031-644-1241) from downtown Seoul.
