Like this. Okay, let's do it. Like this. Yeah. Is this good? Then I can just look into your eyes. Oh, man. That's how we had Genesis. Well, it was a little bit harder than we thought to get out of the seat. So. Because it's such a beautiful, amazing room, and we're so deeply honored to be in this room and in this in this beautiful space with all of us. And so I thought that we could start with a round of applause for every single person in this room who's an artist or an art lover. Who. It already feels. Um, Amy said it felt like a bit of a family reunion. It does have that energy, which I think is a rare room to walk in. Um, with so much love abounding. And I think that's the magic I know. That's the magic of artists. I know that that's the magic of artists. That's the the fact that we are all authors and artists of forever is such a powerful thought. We get to architect the life that we want to imagine. We get to architect the art that we, that we, that we live and breathe. And as an artist, I think one of the most incredible things, and that's what I feel the most in this room is a sense of real, true connection. Sorry about that. And a sense of a sense of, um, desire to find your best self and to represent a diverse understanding of life. And I hope that we can be in this room and walk out of this room with that constant Mission and purpose in our hearts that every person we meet we know is an artist, the creator and author, and that we respect their journey and we love what they have to share. We're excited to know what they have to offer, what they are trying to share with us, and that we remain forever curious about what's possible between us. And we never close our hearts off, ever to what we can do and who we can be together, because the power of that goes beyond anything else. And I think that's what I feel the most in this room. I feel the the real possibility of that by human beings who are loving, caring, human, vulnerable, fearful, terrified, but not of anyone else of your own greatness. Of our collective greatness. And it is something to contend with. But I do feel this like real openness in this room, and I love it. I'm just listening to everybody's words. And imagine if we could listen to every single person in this room say something. It would be like, really, really powerful. So thank you for creating this space. Thank you for beginning this beautiful, um, you know, opening of who we can celebrate. And we are really, truly about celebrating artists. Is that a good pass off to you? Damn. How am I supposed to follow that up? He was just hypnotizing me over here. Um, thank you for this amazing acknowledgement. Um, I come from the Bronx. My wife comes from Hell's Kitchen. And to be able to start so low and help raise the bar pretty high has been such a tremendous gift that we've been given that we love to give to the people. You know, our art exhibition Giants is how many shows now I can't. Seven. Seven shows and over a million people, 80% new. Thank you, thank you. 80% new visits to the museums because people feel welcome. And this is a lifetime work of ours, you know, and even if we can't get the painting we like today, we always tell the artists, take your time. We'll be here. You know, it's not a transactional thing for us when artists enter the Dean collection. And so welcome to the family. We can never own any art. We only can be custodians of the art. We can only put on display the art for the youth to see. But the deans can never own any of these great artists work. They own their work. Mhm. Mhm. And, um, and we just hit a big milestone on the project that we worked on for almost ten years. It's called the Dean's Choice. And the fire department agreed with this. They do. They like. Ringing. Alarm guys. And the dean's choice is basically making collectors responsible to collect, protect and respect the artists. Because that's our job. That's our job. Yes. Yes. And so now, uh, with Bonhams and the Dean collection, the artists can now participate. Living artists can now participate in the resale of their works. So it won't be a one time thing. Mhm. Mhm. You understand? It's a big deal. It's a big deal for us. Mhm. Mhm. Um, and the cool part about it, it's a choice. We shouldn't have to force people to do the right thing. Right? It's a choice. That's why it's called the dean's choice. And if you choose. Thank you. Amy. And if you choose to give that living artist a piece of the sales of what you've made 700% on an X, Y, and Z, that's your choice. But the good part is we'll match that choice. Mhm. Right. So we're going to match the choice. Mhm. That's the dean's choice. So if it's 2%, it's 4%. If it's 4%, it's 8%. But the artist's getting nothing as a crime. Yeah, absolutely. And so, um, we thank everybody for their support on that. Yes. And we have so much work to do. This room has so much work to do. But the good part is we're doing the work for our children's children's children. Mhm. And this is what we're doing it for, that We're not here for us. We had a good time. We did all the parties. Right now we have to lay the path out for the future to be better than us. Mhm. Thank you guys so much. Thank you guys. We're so grateful to be here. So wait, this is the part where we get to say cheers. Oh. This is my favorite part of the night. Kind of. I don't drink, but not because of the champagne. Yes, but because of the toast. And so as we started, can we finish that? We raise our glasses to to the to the kindness, love and power in our hearts, to the endless possibility that we all have within us to celebrating that together, we're stronger than any singular component, and to promising that our intention of uplifting each other will never end. Never stop and never be dissuaded. Cheers. Cheers. Thank you. Time 100.
